2012 Case
Matted hair on left hip
Exudate pressed out. The
associate vet made a small
incision to lance the
abscess
More exudate could be pressed out
More exudate was pressed out
by me.
This meant that the
bacterial infection had
spread much further under
the skin
Update:
A bigger skin incision was
done by me to drain
the brownish exudate. No
further complaint from the
couple 2 days after surgery.

An unusual case. Hamster
recovered fully. Owner from Bukit Batok refers her
aunty's roboroskvi to Toa
Payoh Vets. Successful
outcome generates referrals,
much better than
advertisements.
I could not save the aunty's hamster as it had a
large bleeding inguinal
growth and was very weak and
still, unlike the normal
rocket-like lifestyle of a
roboroskvi. It was immobile
upside down when positioned
indicating that it was
extremely ill. This inguinal
growth was probably
malignant and had
infiltrated inside the body
causing internal bleeding as
well as an external
bleeding.
